Jiankun Gong

I am a PhD Scholar from University of Malaya. My research orbits the application of media effects theories in the digital context, emerging communication technologies, and computational social science. Recently, I have been focusing health communication and how (social) media helps to communicate health and science. My works have been published at Digital Journalism, Social Media + Society, Journalism among others. I am serving as Associate editor, peer reviewer at various journals, conferences (ICA, NCA etc.). Apart from research, I am a serous swimmer, painter and heavy foodie.
